Padmashree….all about Aishwarya rai BHACCHAN

There has been lot of fuss and a list of doubts on the way the awards have been distributed. First doubt was the most obvious one, Vijayendra and Sushil were ignored and a huge mass of people felt it was disgusting. Other doubts were around the people who got the award instead. Having ashwarya rai and akki take away padmashree was the most laughable thing that could have happened. Akki was obviously awarded for his films like singh is king and welcome, one of the most memorable movies in bollywood history. And, Ash for Jodha Akbar. Thank god they worked for the directors for crores of money and gave us the immense pleasure of sitting and looking at them on the silver screen after paying rs 150 each. Looks as if the enormous amount of money and fame is not enough for the bollywood stars for whatever they do. These people are earning an amount of money that nobody can justify, given that their input effort << output money, all because they do what can be sold. Is it OK to have people who already are overpaid, take padmashrees too??

These are the same set of people who have gained so much from the media, who have been showing their faces more than enough amount of time. I don’t know why media fail to realize that they are overdoing it. In fact there are some dedicated channels for bollywood gossips and research on lives of these so called stars. I cannot believe that in a country of 1 billlion people, there are not enough stories being generated every hour to cover in their 24X7 jobs that they are forced to treat us every time with bollywood rot?

And as if all of this was not enough for bechaari junta, government announces this award to be given to these people. Laughable really, not just the way padmashree has been given to Dhoni, and believe it or not, Bhajji too. Looks like padmashree has become what all other corporate sponsored cheap popularity awards are. Atleast government is supposed to make some genuine efforts in figuring out, who the real people are, especially when Padmashree has nothing to offer other than respect and recognition. No wonder, Sushil and Vijayendra are crying over the split milk, as if it was padmashree which they finally wanted. Looks like they have still not grasped the golden and the only rule...its all about money baby!
