Corruption Continues
This is a direct quote from Bloomberg website, which proves that the corruption has flourished in latest congress rule as well and surprisingly enough, the issue has failed to find any mention by the media. We might need second thoughts before polling, unfortunately, it is coming too late though (today is the last polling day in the country):
"The Global Financial Integrity program, a Washington-based
non-government organization campaigning for tighter controls on
tax havens, estimates “illicit outflows” from India probably
averaged as much as $27 billion annually in the five years
through 2006, equivalent to about 35 percent of the nation’s
budget deficit."
But it is best to be aware now, as such scandles come out in open only 10 years after they happen.
