as you like it...
Place: inside mah office
Time: could have been afternoon napping time in Dec...
Thank god that I have finally managed to get into a B school. Although it took me a while to explain to my family that this was a real proper college (even though it's world rank is 15th on financial times ratings). But I should not worry too much about them, they can claim to be the least informed in this territory. I was still thinking that the salary post this pseudo degree should be more decent, more graceful, if not obscene. I am still far far away from the miraculous Mr Dhoni. He is really smart and that's ridiculously disturbing. I am sure it was not his vision that to earn this kind of money he should become a cricketer. Anyway, to prevent a choleric attack, I should scrap thinking about this chap and concentrate on my future options. I was quite happy with my current company though, but probably they gave me too much of free time to help myself to a probably more attractive position.
I have been reading the admits blog lately. I saw so many posts about something or the other. I am still confused if I can contribute a penny there. I really have no words which my future class mates might find interesting and besides, I have not been able to make it to any of the Delhi meets and hence, might have already earned some of their wrath. But how can I help it? This company is forcing me to some or the other silly hydrogen plant in most secluded parts of the country. I mean, it will always be a Timabktoo like location, invariably inhabited by fighter people. Perhaps this is so because of the harsh conditions and zero girl environment (practically zero eye candies unless they start compromising amongst themselves) in these places. People have become all dried up, their faces are as if someone has sucked the juice out of it – it would be extremly relevant if you can remember the literal translation of the bagasse. Hopefully, automation in plants will bring some joy to their lives and I wish the best for them.
I also have been bothered by my idiot box. Until I have got into the college again and in the rush to finish everything in half the time, I have to bear with it. Nothing means nothing…you can continue groping about it and still end up with nothing distinguishable. Some times, I wonder why is it always the same stuff? Where are all the bright minds? Are none of them interested in making money through television? I mean it is an obvious source of money and yet no intelligent takers? Why most new concepts are some English serial/show corollary, if we keep aside rakhi sawant ka sawayamyar and raaz pechle janam ka....!!I have a huge sense of admiration for such initiatives though.
Hope things will change within my life span, if not sooner….
