Katrina vs. jokes

For truly useless people like me, I had an excellent idea today. I found out google trends!
The website gives fascinating research possibilities. I thought of a number of random words which are searched in India.

Here are few things I found out about our great country:
- Strangest thing was that maximum searches were done by people sitting in Bhopal, even more than those in Delhi and Mumbai. Mumbai was lagging behind Delhi in most searched words.
- “Bhopal” itself was one of the most searched words ….comparable in popularity with Katrina Kaif!! Perhaps so because of the gas tragedy
- Following are few comparisons of popularity I generated….quite interesting




- Katrina, jokes, terrorism and santa banta - Jokes lead but Katrina is not far behind, santa banta also fared well




This one is terrorism vs. global warming...global warming causes double the concern... Delhi traffic is higher than Washington DC :P




So far we had found that 'jokes' lead the most searched, but here is the real leader...CRICKET!!!!

Also note that I did this search for global traffic, not just that for Indian.

    Great thanks insightful ! Additionally, NO OFFENCE MEANT TO ANYBODY , few clerics claim that Islam seems to be one cleanest of all religions. They base their results on the fact that if on www.google.com you type in "Christianity is" or "Buddhism is" or lets say "Hinduism is" and "Islam is" the auto-complete options available explain the rest. These options are based on frequency of searches based on your specific content and search patterns that are unique to community visiting the page.

Frankly, if this is what it was going to be like then I certainly have made a mistake. No seriously, I am bored of this life already.
