tipping point

Ever since I came here, the feeling hovers that i have done this before...going to the lecture halls, criticising the food (despite it being far better than any mess foods served across colleges), discussing college politics, spamming, running around the library, discussing professors, assignments, subjects and people. Few things are new though. The kind of confusion about what to choose and what to let go is persistent and is haunting every soul in campus. Seems like this week is already the last chance of finalising priorities and focusing things one wants the most. In this flurry of finding our spaces, all of us are doing what is still the easiest for us to do and that without wasting any time and thinking that this a important chance to learn. After all, as our leadership dev program professor rightly said, consciously delaying self gratification for higher rewards is an act few can accomplish but those who do are the real leaders. I am sure there are those in our class of 2011 too.
Everyone seems to have come here with the fair idea of one self, but to others few are overly enthusiastic, few are judging, few are ‘networking’ (a toast to the bad networkers, every human being is equal to a visiting card) and few are partying and gossiping. But finally, the terms will hit you hard, so were we told and so has it been. All other activities are siding gradually now. The dust is settling. However, here I am, writing and I am also fully conscious of what I am doing. For at present, it seems I am a victim of one of those venting attack for which you bother Google with a blog.
