Dedicated to VM, who always lites me up!


Long after you are gone, I realize that good company is meant to make our lives better. I continue to search for you everywhere I go. I realize now what you meant to me. I miss the simplicity, the innocence at our faces, the zero pretention environment, the choices we could make about people and things in life, the leisure chats that we shared, the walks that we went for, the studies that we did together, the cycle rides that you gave me, the earrings which we shared, the everyday rush through the stairs to the class, the notes that we shared, the feeling that I had when i found you eating cornflakes, the day when you forgot air composition, the day when you cried with me in my grief, the cuppa maggies that we ate together, the strange movies that we downloaded and then deleted, the admiration that we shared of that hollywood hero and so much more about you.

Everywhere i go i look for someone like you, someone i can share my mind and space with, with who i can have some healthy and enjoyable argument and from whom I can learn something. Someone who shows me what passion can make one do and what hard work could be, by whose performance i could love to get be beaten up. The respect we had for each other and shall continue to have is of a kind i have found in books.

I must accept its time to move on and live with that empty slot in life.
