Salt, not just a pinch

So the term break is here. Don't believe me when i say that term breaks are some real kind of breaks, because they are not. I vaguely remember seeing some cursed soul mailing right after our exam is over that he is all set to give us a quiz in class 1 and in fact, reminding some other poor souls that they are suppose to prepare a silly ppt for his first class.

Anyway, i am ready to bear watching various movies and finish off my backlog on this front during the term break. So I made a start with a bang. 'Salt' it was. What a movie, i mean really, what a movie. I sooo much wanted to be her, but i am not close. Forget close, i am miles apart. Forget miles, I am, I think, the other extreme. Quick was what Miss salt was, and given a question in exam, my lead time for solution delivery is reallllly long. (In operations, we are taught a slightly lame funda called service level.) So this service level thing is long and worst of all, it has high variability. So, changing the frame of reference, if I land up in a situation like she did, then imagine. The movie will finish before you blink and then the audience will wonder, did we miss something or there is some more to come, perhaps she will rise again; she will do 'something' as super heroic as Angelina does.

Forgive me for my ignorance about these action movies, but let me go over the following to just check my understanding that is it just me or everybody else also thinks so. The superhero movies like batman etal. make you think of CIA, FBI like they are a bunch of complete idiots who would have done nothing if this superhero wasn't there. On the other hand, movies like salt would show CIA guys (or for that matter Russian agents) like no one less than humans who are blessed with powers to violate all biology's 'unsaid' laws. They will possess every power and an extraordinarily small, what do you call that again, 'lead time'. They would jump from insurmountable heights, walk comfortably on edges of millions of feet tall buildings and run like jet has been fired with Einstein sitting in it. They are simply born to never die. Sigh.

If I am born again on this planet, I shall be Super Girl. Amen.
