corruption in India

I wrote about this two years back.... http://prersi.blogspot.com/2009/05/election-fever-pappus-all-over.html
This post was made during the election time, I had wondered why was there no discussion about corruption during the entire course. I know of thousands of intellectuals who are keeping mum on this Anna hazare's protests to be held tomorrow (16th Aug 2011).   Unfortunately, these people are failing to realize that Anna has at least been successful in bringing this problem to the centre stage. He has clean image, support of masses and good intentions. Is this not enough for us ?
all news channels are doing surveys only to find that everybody is tired of exploitation. The corruption figures have gone from Rs. three digit number of crores to four digit number of crores in past few years and yet nothing has been done to control.
PM continues to be mum observer. The key players right now: Mr Sibal, Mr Pranav, Mr Khurshid and Mr chidambaram all have been lawyers, we all know that lawyers are low on loop closures by nature. No wonder we have landed into a state of indecision in India.
