Half Way Through: Janlokpal Bill

Yesterday was one of the most graceful moments of my life. My whole family went to Ramleela maidan to witness the moment when the letter from the government arrives and the world dances to our National Anthem. Anna spoke, like always, wonderfully, reflecting focus, persistence, and purity. Even at this moment, happiness and discipline that was there in the ground is an example which whole world will find difficult to replicate. Yes, we are different.


Anna is an iron man in his intentions. People argue about differences between Anna and Mahatma Gandhi.  Why this debate? Not necessarily every Indian crusader have to be replica of Gandhi Ji. He can adopt certain ingrediants of Gandhi ji though. Most important ones are ability to unite people, persistence and finally, non violence. I think all these are present in him.
 Anna ji always concludes his message to the crowd with his thunderous slogan of "Vande Matram" and " Bharat Mata ki Jai". It is a strange and lovely experience to witness it and become a part of it. There are music, slogan  and most importantly, hope in the air. Yes, hope. Let the awakening begin. Amen.

Frankly, if this is what it was going to be like then I certainly have made a mistake. No seriously, I am bored of this life already. I have no msgs in my gmail box, no sms, no phone calls, it feels like I am already a mother of 5 kids and nobody on earth cares for me anymore. The only emails i get are on my office ID.
