Experiments with Indian Traffic
We are the proud presenters of Live 12 hr daily circus in India. It is free, without break and performed by the masters in the trait. Every tourist to our country feels privileged to watch this 4 D show. Uniqueness of this "fash tesht" growing economy of the World.
No, seriously! traffic in India is running in one of the most admirable fashions.
For the sake of brevity, we will not discuss here what should happen. Let us only describe what all are the possibilities.
Beginners can try this first. Start with comfortably driving between two lanes. After this, vehicles behind you must honk tunes of different bhangra songs, while struggling to drive in the symbolic lanes. But, obviously their wish must not be granted. This activity gives fair amount of music and enjoyment.
Another interesting activity is to make way through chain of three wheelers. These three wheelers are like traffic dampers. They are suppose to calm down the mercedes and audis owners. They are there to teach one humility and remind you the name of this country. (They can be identified as 30 km/hr creeping small automobiles which are driven by people who have never known if there are rules on road to be followed. These drivers are also suffering from hard of hearing problem, specially when they are driving.) This activity gives pleasure comparable to car racing games on latest 3 D laptop.
Also on a red light, one can experience one of the most thrilling experiences. If one wants to take a right turn then place oneself in the leftmost lane and vise versa. The Real Game begins when the red light turns green and there are only 30 seconds to be on this side or that. There is hate, anger, romance (with the traffic policeman) and thrill of crossing the traffic light with this start positioning. Believe me, this one fails Olympics.
There is immense scope of innovation too. One can invent new methods to torture fellow countrymen and gain sadistic pleasure.
However, governments still believe that the traffic flow problems can be solved by building flyovers and investing in new roads.
I have found a youtube video which explains all concepts in detail v well. How to drive in Delhi

It's indeed a nightmare, travelling through the roads of India. Authorities must find suitable solutions to solve the crisis.
