Drafting Job Posting and feasting egos!

Check this job posting out:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pleasant to interact. Ability to converse clearly with Function Heads - how will they check "pleasant to interact" crap

- A management, accounting or finance designation such as MBA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA etc. from premier institute with 3 - 4 years of relevant experience 

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, project management, teamwork and interpersonal skills - oops is there any other adjective in dictionary?

- PC proficiency including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint 

- Experience of interacting / operating with senior leadership & an ability to influence decision making 

- Managerial skills, preferably of managing a MIS or business support teams - A CFA ready to do MIS work?

 
- Ability to use financial controlling tools - u mean RBI governor


See that? They want every damn talent in a single entity and then, where is the mention of CTC? Nowhere!!!
Similarly, when they advertise jobs on campus, this is how it looked like many a times:

Location: multiple
CTC: negotiable
JD: Make strategies and prepare monthly analysis reports for departments (that looks like the most crisp and brightest possible career paths after all that hard work at school)school)

Requirements:
everything ! like the one above.

Do they realize that not every employer is Golman sachs and people deserve respect and money to work for.

Well well. Those who design such job posting are telling us the following: look, we are in and you are out of the company. It is we who will rule, always. ISB, who cares. just do as we tell you to and look pleasant. You will sure get a piece of bread in the dinner.
