Anna, Corporate and short skirts
I have been wanting to write about many things but a lot that I want to write required censorship. However, finally, i have come out of the notion of being politically correct 100% of time and hence, following is going online anyway. I have three things in row to mention here.
First, I have not been able to go for Anna thing this time around. But I am a firm supporter and will continue to support till they become powerful - enough- to - create change in system. However, if they eventually evolve into another corrupt political party, like others, by the end of it, then we can conclusively establish that "corruption is one more of the natural consequences of Darwinian evolution theory of mankind." This is because there couldn't have been a better start of this political "alternative" story.
Second, I have been working at office but I am disappointed with unchanging attitude of people. People miss fundamental business requirements: change, empowerment and growth of its people. They want succession lines empty, drop prices in market, pressurize product innovation and worst of all.....delink performance with rewards. I think this pretty much determines direction of the company. Of course, i am also to be considered useless if I cannot change this, but I had read Osho once proposing the following: you can wake some one up if he is asleep, but how can you wake him up if he merely pretends with closed eyes.
Third, there has been some protest around women wearing short skirts, provoking men to be indecent. I look at this differently. I worry about men who are protesting against women wearing short skirts. They wish to convert Indian women into behenjis. Do they really want all women to wear burkhas, so that they don't get any fresh air in streets? Or perhaps, they want to eliminate women from streets, so that it only them who has slog their entire lives running for every single thing from buying vegetables to earn money?
Well. Every one has choices available and it is not compulsory to make only the right ones. We all are welcome to make mistakes so that there is always some laughing stock available. Have you ever noticed stand up comedians? they only tell us what we keep doing daily, and yet we laugh.
